    Carrie Shippy
    Chiropractor

Dr. Carrie Shippy is a chiropractor serving Darlington and the surrounding communities in Lafayette County.

Dr. Carrie uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning.  Dr. Carrie takes a 'whole person' approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. Carrie will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs. Dr. Carrie's patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.

To get to know Dr. Carrie a little better, she grew up on a dairy farm outside of Gratiot, Wisconsin and graduated high school from Black Hawk High School, South Wayne, Wisconsin. She attended UW-Whitewater and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Biology. Following her four years at UW-Whitewater, Dr. Carrie enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa to fulfill her dream of being a chiropractor. During her education at Palmer, Dr. Carrie visited Manaus, Brazil to provide free chiropractic care to those living in poverty. She also worked at Palmer in the Diagnosis department as a teaching assistant. After graduation in 2011, she worked as an associate doctor at Family Chiropractic Clinic in Monroe. While she loved all her patients and those that she worked with in Monroe, she had the opportunity to fulfill her dream to have her own clinic in Darlington. Dr. Carrie practices many different kinds of techniques when adjusting including: Thompson, Gonstead, and Diversified. She also has her Wisconsin Nutritional Certification to help those seeking nutritional or weight loss advice. Dr. Carrie loves helping those in need but also loves taking care of children and families for preventative care.

Dr. Carrie, her husband, and their daughter currently reside on a small farm and enjoy raising beef cattle on the side. In her free time they love being outside doing projects and also giving extra snuggles to their dogs.
